As awareness of male fertility grows around the world, INTIN—a Korean digital healthcare startup—is accelerating its global expansion by targeting the early-screening market.

Following the release of the Netflix documentary Plastic Detox, concern over declining male fertility has intensified worldwide. According to research from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, sperm concentration has fallen by roughly 52% over the past 46 years, and about 50% of infertility cases are associated with male factors. Recognizing this pain point, INTIN is opening a new market with HAGOBOGO, a digital sperm microscope that lets users observe their sperm condition at home and seek timely medical care when abnormalities are detected.
Key Highlights
Strong domestic foothold — HAGOBOGO is stocked across major online and offline channels, including 7-Eleven, Olive Young, Coupang, and Market Kurly. Notably, about 60% of buyers are women, reflecting growing adoption among couples and consumers planning for a family.
Expansion to 9 countries — After establishing direct sales on Amazon US, INTIN entered key local channels in Japan such as Rakuten, Amazon Japan, and Matsumoto Kiyoshi. The company has secured its third reorder from Japanese buyers and extended its export reach to nine countries in total, including Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Hungary.
Revenue growth — In the first half of this year alone, INTIN has already surpassed its full-year revenue from the previous year.
New product, HAGOBOGO PRO — A medical device that precisely measures sperm motility, concentration, and linearity on a quantitative basis in line with WHO standards. Through joint research with CHA Hospital, its results were validated for consistency with hospital-grade equipment, and it has completed medical device approvals in major markets including Korea, Europe, Japan, and India.
Technology and outlook — INTIN holds around 70 patents registered or filed at home and abroad, and plans to pursue a Series B funding round to advance its products and speed up global expansion.
INTIN CEO Kim Ji-hoon stated that the company's ultimate goal goes beyond selling screening products—aiming to build a male health platform ecosystem spanning early detection, behavioral change, and care connection, and to set a global standard in men's healthcare based on its proven technology and global distribution experience.
